John is a serial entrepreneur and investor that is obsessed with helping companies fulfill their missions to “Build the World.” John has been involved in scores of start-ups and high growth businesses; including companies in the E-commerce, and B2C and B2B services and retail spaces. John is driven by the possibilities of scalable businesses with impact and purpose. He loves the challenge and excitement of his current role as President of Redlist, LLC a B2B Software as a Service (SaaS) company in the industrial space–where his teams work to unite the enterprise asset community of equipment owners, OEMs and suppliers. His software platform provides maintenance, safety and operational software solutions to medium and large enterprise customers that are involved in building fundamental building blocks of civilization. In addition to being pretty nerdy, John also lives a wannabe farmer’s life in Utah.

Dean has worked in Reliability, Hydraulics, Lubrication, and Automatic Lubrication industries for more than 40 years. He has implemented cost saving systems and reliability solutions for the Food and Beverage, Mining, Steel, Packaging, Pulp and Paper and Manufacturing industries. He is currently the Director of Sales for the OilSafe Reliability Products Group. Projects include new designs for the HRC and Mini HRC at Morenci, as well as solutions for the Plant Air compressors that have increased reliability and saved FMI money. These solutions have saved maintenance costs, reduced FMI’s carbon footprint, and lowered the Total Cost of Ownership. In another mine his reliability solutions are saving more than 1 million dollars per year. He has surveyed and implemented Reliability Assessments for more than 25 industrial customers over the last 10 years including Gallo, Appvion Paper, Kapstone Paper, Ingredion, Evergy Power, Heinz, Cal Portland Cement, Lehigh Hanson and US Silica. Dean holds an Associate Degree in Fluid Power Technology and a Bachelors in Business Management. He is a member of SMRP and holds Machine Lubricant Analyst II and Machine Lubricant Technician I certifications from ICML, as well as Certified Lubrication Specialist from STLE. He is currently working on his CMRP. ‌
